The bug in iOS 11.03 allows you to bypass iCloud completely, but only for devices in Clean mode. This bug happens on iCloud lock activation screen, before you activate your device. And one more, it works only on linked accounts, where 2-factor authorization is enabled. Since Apple recently replaces all of them with 2-factor authorization, it can be considered that it will work on most devices.

Follow this steps to remove iCloud lock:

Restore firmware to iOS 11.0x
Press “touch unlocked by a passcode”
Enter any digits 2 times
Press “back” twice
Press “next”

The bug can be fixed on the Apple server at any time. Those who have already avoided there is nothing to fear.

I bought a iPhone 5 for my daughter and it had an iCloud. I am on a iclouddnsbypass server. Know I don’t know what to do. All I want is this phone to be unlocked so I don’t look more foolish than I already do, in front of my daughter. I had bought it for her birthday and thought I was getting a great deal and didn’t know anything about this iCloud stuff. I am begging for assistance.

I found an iPod 5th generation touch 9.3.5 on the greyhound bus about a year and it has a activation lock on it with Apple ID and password.
